Parents

We parent so much in isolation. I think of counseling for parents as a way to break this isolation and have someone else to help us hold this complex time in our lives. Guiding your child’s behavior can be exhausting and can have a ripple effect on your couple relationship, your work life, and on your own self-esteem. Frequently these issues can also “wake up” old wounds from earlier times in your life.  Counseling can help you to manage the stress of parenting, break parenting ruts, learn new strategies for addressing behavioral issues, improve co-parenting, and clarify your parenting values and dreams.
