Some children seem to have always been more intense, more sensitive or more demanding than others. Others may be reacting to a difficult life event, trauma, loss, or social injustice. Therapy is a safe place to get to the root of your child’s behaviors and needs, to support your child, and to recreate harmony in your life as a family.
I use art, play therapy, mindfulness techniques, and experiential activities to create a warm and inviting environment in which children can express themselves in natural, developmentally appropriate ways. I collaborate closely with parents, integrating your wisdom and knowledge of your children, with insights from therapy with your child, to create lasting solutions.
I can serve as a bridge between families and their schools, health care providers, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
